In 1963 when Owner, Wade Jones, was just 10 years old, his father Quentin "Bud" Jones, and Clair Bentley started a driveway business with the name "Jones and Bentley Blacktop Co. Wade began working with his father in 1969 and paved his way through high school and college summers earning his college degree from Ashland University at the same time. In 1988, he took over the company from his father and has continued running it to this day, now alongside his two sons Andy and Jake. In the now 60 plus years of operation there has never been a job too big or too small for this family-owned business.
As we look to the future, Jones Blacktop & Excavating, Inc. remains dedicated to upholding the values and principles that have defined us since our founding in 1963.
